I used the same material as the countertops - Richlite, to make a 3" backsplash for the counters, which I epoxied to the top…

Puts it right where you want it, mixes itself in the nozzle, no mess…

Stove is finally in...

Received the stove a year ago, but it was not ready to install until now.

Good thing the guy from the co-op had some alternative nozzles for propane as it turns out they shipped me the natural gas version of the stove instead of the liquid propane…  Oops on them!

All turned out well in the end though…

Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man...

Was looking for some material I had stored behind the garage - found a hornet's nest instead - stings on the hand and forearm.

Got the wedding ring off as the fingers started swelling.  See if any of the hot chicks will start pestering me now ; )

Laundry...

I haven't posted much lately as the majority of the work has been clearing the property around the house - readying for the heat and fire season, but alas, something exciting.  Hooked up the washer/dryer combo, and a after a minor flooding, was able to do my first load of wash - clean clothes - yeah!!!

Stove backsplash and garage...

I finished grouting the tile backsplash for the stove, and with the help of some unsuspecting delivery guys, moved the fridge in…

But I did spend most of the day in the garage - built a bench, put together some wire shelves and hung a bike rack.  Will buy some more totes and get it organized over the next few weeks…

Tile and fridge...

Cut and installed the stove backslash tile - will grout tomorrow or Saturday.

Spent a good part of the day rearranging the garage so that I can build a bench and install shelves tomorrow and through the weekend.

The as I thought I was finished for the day, a truck pulls up with our fridge…  I'll wait tip tomorrow to figure out how I am going to get it through the front door ; )

Got here yesterday...

But have spent most of my time "weed-wacking".  Still have a lot to whack, but I am going to space out that fun.

This morning I installed this mirror in the laundry/second bath…

And I am getting ready to tile a backsplash behind the stove - this is the Schluter trim which will finish off the tile edge like in out bath and shower…

Ready to go...

7 weeks on crutches have left me stir-crazy.

I am more than ready and excited to get back to finishing the house this Summer!
