Bathroom...

Shower niche in, cement board taped and cemented...

The results of my modification...

The Whitehaus toilet lists it as a 12" rough-in but it is not, and thus, to get it away from the wall, I needed to cut out half an inch and seam it back together - I PVC glued it back together,  epoxied around the seam, wrapped it several times with 1" silicone tape, epoxied once again, wrapped it several more times with the silicone tape and finally epoxied the edges.

Red Guard painted over the cement board, and tiling pattern established - tile tomorrow...

A photo from the play...

Down the toilet...

We bought a new type of toilet - very modern, one piece with a different type of waste connection and installation...

Concrete drilling to insert anchors for six bolts...

These brackets secure the toilet itself...

The new drain system that also bolts to the floor, and the toilets waste slips into the rubber sleeve...

Sadly, this new systems puts the upstairs toilet back into the wall by an eighth of an inch, so I am trying an experiment by cutting out a little under a half inch of the piping and then through various means adhering the two pieces back into one...

Wish me luck ; )

The curtain falls...

Shakespeare's 12th Night closed yesterday at the Merc Playhouse in Twisp.  Malvolio was the absolutely most satisfying role I have played during one of the most stressful periods of life I have yet encountered.  I am so fortunate to have had the opportunity to play such a great character.

Thanks to the Merc, Ki, the appreciative audiences, and my wonderful castmates...
