Scary map...

This map shows fire or thermals on our side on the river, but our neighbor sees NO FIRE at this point - so just high temps at this time must have been detected.

Gusty winds from the NW at 25 mph and expected to shift to from the West - which we could do without...

Really hoping we get through this one...

The nearby towns of Twisp and Winthrop have been issued with immediate evacuations - another mass of fires headed our way.

Luckily we are safe and by chance out of the Valley.

Really hope to see this standing when we return...
